And so we want to spread the love!
If you are a current member of Pinelands Hockey Club, we want to encourage you to bring friends and family to join the club. So, we’re trialing a special referral programme for 2025 to thank you for helping our club to grow! For every person that you bring to join Pinelands Hockey Club, you will receive a R500 reduction of your club fees!
As always, there are some rules though…
Eligibility
- Only existing club members are eligible to refer new members.
- An existing club member is defined as registered and fully paid members from the 2024 or 2025 season.
- A new member is defined as someone who has not played for the club in the past two seasons (2023 or 2024).
- The referral is only valid once the new member has completed registration and paid their full fees for the season.
Process to Claim Discount
- The referrer must submit to the Treasurer, via email, the new member(s) that they have referred to the club (which will be verified by the treasurer).
- Once the new member has paid in full, the club will apply the discount to the referrer’s fees.
- If the referrer has already paid in full, the discount will be refunded or carried forward to the next season (regardless of whether the referral system continues next season).
Referral Incentive
- The referring member will receive a R500 discount per new member referred.
- The discount cannot reduce the referrer’s total fees below R1550.
- If a referring member recruits multiple new members, the discounts stack, but their total payable amount cannot drop below R1550.
Additional Terms
- The policy is only valid for the 2025 season and may be reviewed for future seasons.
- If a referred member withdraws before the season starts, the club reserves the right to revoke the referrer’s discount.
- The club committee has the discretion to handle special cases or disputes.
- We operate in good faith. Any illegitimate claims will render the member ineligible from future discounts.
