PINELANDS HOCKEY CLUB
The idea of Lands for Life is born out of the DNA which Pinelands Hockey Club has had since its inception. We want to create a club that is inviting to everyone, whether you’re new to hockey or pushing for top performance. It speaks to a range of important things to us:
- It celebrates the dedication of our current members, with some having played for PHC for decades!
- It describes the kind of people we want to be, one that cares about the long-term future of the club and its members.
- It highlights the friendships that are created in teams, lifelong bonds that transcend simply playing in a team.
- It defines the kinds of opportunities we want to create, opportunities for families to engage in the club at every stage of life.
- It depicts the notion of enjoyment, bringing life to each of our lives,
- It underlines the health and wellbeing benefits of sport, literally helping us to keep us alive!

Pinelands Hockey Club is a place where young kids join early in life to enjoy physical activity, grow in their core hockey skills over the years, hone their competitive edge in adult leagues, return after the inevitable university period to play their best hockey, contribute toward the club in various capacities, continue to play in Masters teams due to love for the game, and ultimately bring up their children in the club to restart the cycle. In short, it’s a place where hockey can be enjoyed throughout your whole life.
